Selene Mogavero, PhD
Alison Favaroni, PhD
Graduated in Molecular Biological Sciences (2005, bachelor's degree) and later in Biomolecular Science and Technology (2007, master's degree), Dr. Mogavero earned her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Genetics from the University of Pisa (2011). She performed Scientific Medical Writing activities at Primula Multimedia SrL (Pisa) from 2011 to 2014. She then performed postdoctoral research from 2014 to 2022 at the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology - Hans Knöll Institute in Jena (Germany). Since 2023, she has returned to Scientific Medical Writing as a freelance.
Graduated in Biotechnology at the University of Perugia (2010, bachelor's degree) and in Medical Biotechnology at the University of Bologna (2013, master's degree), Dr. Favaroni obtained her Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Düsseldorf, Germany in 2017.
Next, she conducted postdoctoral research in Jena, Germany at the Friedrich-Loeffler-Institute research center (2017-2020) and at the University Hospital (Universitätsklinikum Jena) in 2021. She then performed scientific coordination and communication management activities at the University of Jena in 2022. Since 2023, she is active as freelance Scientific Medical Writer.
